kusanagimotoko
Here's how things work:
1.) Contests shall begin on Saturday
2.) Contests are started by the previous contest winner.
3.) Contests shall accept submissions until Thursday.
4.) The contest starter shall select the three stories they feel are best.
5.) A period of general voting, lasting exactly one day shall then commence.
6.) By Saturday the winner shall initiate the next contest.

1.) This is a fiction writing community, no poetry or songfics please.
2.) The work you submit must be your own- co-authoring is allowed, but please state with whom.
3.) Works must be at least a hundred words, please try to keep them under 2,000 words.
4.) Submissions must be a story, not merely a description of the image, now other guidelines.
5.) Rules are subject to be expanded per particular contest. (i.e. contest initiator can restrict genre, etc)
6.) Contest initiator picks the top three and then everyone can vote (but not for themselves).
7.) Members must be active at least once per month, either submitting a work for a contest or by reviewing another's work (voting does not count).
